Terms of Service

2.1 “As-Is” Status

The Service is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we expressly disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, secure, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

2.2 Feature Changes

During the Beta period we reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service in whole or in part, including any feature, at any time without notice or liability.

2.3 No Liability for Data Loss

You acknowledge that using Beta software carries an inherent risk of data loss, corruption, or unavailability. Enblock Limited makes no guarantees regarding the preservation, backup, or recoverability of your data. You are solely responsible for maintaining independent copies of all data you input into the Service.

2.4 Feedback

Any feedback or suggestions you provide may be used by us to improve the Service without any obligation to compensate you.

4.1 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. Account authentication is managed via Clerk.

4.2 Shared Links

Creating a Shared Link generates a public URL that allows anyone with the link to view your project data without logging in. You are solely responsible for distributing and revoking these links.

4.3 Acceptable Use

You agree not to reverse engineer the Service, attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users’ data, or use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

5.1 Your Data

You retain ownership of the cable schedules and project data you create or import. You grant Enblock Limited a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, process, store, and display this data as necessary to provide and improve the Service. You further grant us the right to use anonymised and aggregated data derived from your use of the Service for analytics, benchmarking, and product development purposes.

Enblock Limited is under no obligation to store, maintain, or return your data beyond the active term of your account. You are responsible for exporting any data you wish to retain.

5.2 Our Intellectual Property

The CableBlock platform, including its source code, visual interfaces, algorithms, and diagramming logic, is the property of Enblock Limited.

6.1 Engineering Disclaimer

CableBlock is a visualisation and documentation tool, not an electrical engineering certification tool. “Validation” within the Service refers to data topology checks (e.g., verifying that cables have a source and destination). The Service does not perform electrical safety calculations (e.g., voltage drop, thermal constraints) and must not be used as a substitute for professional engineering review or certification.

6.2 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law (including the Control of Exemption Clauses Ordinance, Cap. 71):

• Enblock Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, business interruption, or cost of procurement of substitute services.
• Our total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to Enblock Limited in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or HK$100, whichever is greater.
• Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

9.1 Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

9.2 Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be referred to and finally resolved by the courts of Hong Kong.
